MeXo Bar Menu Highlights $4 Tacos and $10 Tortas
GRAND RAPIDS, MI (AUGUST, 2019) – MeXo Tequila & Mezcal Bar, located at 118 Fulton Street East, Grand Rapids, announces new bar and lunch menu featuring $4 Tacos and $10 Tortas (Sandwiches). Available during lunch and all day at the bar, MeXo’s street food satisfies the desire for quick and inexpensive snacks alongside a beverage. MeXo Restaurant introduces its Tequila & Mezcal Bar to the local community and its visitors as their gateway to Grand Rapids’ first Botanero.
A Botanero is a community bar, originally found in the coastal state of Colima, that serves “botanas” or snacks a la carte alongside beers & beverages. MeXo’s Botanero menu includes a selection of $4 tacos on house-ground masa tortillas, $10 Tortas on housemade birote bread, and a small $3 bite of guacamole called Tentempié - an abbreviated form of the phrase “mantente en pie” (hold it together or stay on track) - meaning a little snack to keep you going as you bar hop along the streets of Mexico.
While dinner guests experience the food of indigenous Mexico in the main dining room each night, bar guests can grab a snack and a drink. Sous Chef Ramon Silguero Jr. recommends the Botanero menu because “it’s an inexpensive sneak peek into the many flavors at MeXo.”
MeXo invites guests to the try the Botanero items for lunch, for late night snacks, and conveniently available on UberEats as well.
